Obtaining an ECF Login and Password

ECF Attorney Filers (Form 1) and Pro Hac Vice Attorney Filers (Form 1A)

Attorneys have two options in obtaining a Login and Password for filing in the Electronic Case Filing system. The first method is to attend one four-hour session of ECF training conducted by this court. Training sessions are offered in each court location as follows:

Columbus - first Wednesday of each odd month - Jan., Mar., May, Jul., Sept., and Nov.
Cincinnati - second Wednesday of each odd month - Jan., Mar., May, Jul., Sept., and Nov.
Dayton - third Wednesday of each even month - Feb., Apr., Jun., Aug., Oct., and Dec.

To register for attorney training please print out and complete the Application for Attorney Training and return it to the appropriate address indicated on the Application. Attorneys are strongly encouraged to bring a (non-attorney) staff member from their office to the training session.

The second way for attorneys to obtain a Login and Password is to be qualified as an ECF Filer in another U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Attorneys who are ECF Filers in another Bankruptcy Court should print out and complete the Application for Attorney Training . Additionally, the appropriate Attorney Registration Form (Form 1 or Form 1a) should be printed out and completed as well.

The completed Attorney Registration form and Application for Attorney Training
should be returned to the court at the following address:
