Charles M. Caldwell was appointed
a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Ohio on May 26, 1993,
and reappointed for an additional term commencing on May 26, 2007. Effective May
15, 2008, he became the Chief Judge. |

|
|
Judge Caldwell was an Assistant United
States Trustee in the Department of Justice United States Trustee Program for the
Southern District of Ohio from March 7, 1988, until his appointment to the Court.
From 1986 to 1988 he served as a staff attorney in the Bankruptcy Division of the
Administrative Office of the United States Courts. Judge Caldwell is a 1979 graduate
of Northwestern University School of Law, and a 1976 graduate of the University
of Evansville with a B.S. in Public Administration. |
