|
Burton Perlman is a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District
of Ohio. He has been on the bankruptcy bench since 1976. He served as Chief Bankruptcy
Judge for the Southern District of Ohio from 1986-1993. He now serves as a recall
judge on that bench. His undergraduate education was at Yale University and he attended
the University of Michigan Law School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War
II from 1944-1946. |

Prior to appointment as a Bankruptcy Judge, he served as a U.S.
Magistrate for the Southern District of Ohio from 1971-1976. |
|
|
|
|
|
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar
Association, Federal Bar Association, and National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges. |
|
|
|
|
|
He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati Law
School. |
