The Honorable C. Kathryn Preston was appointed to the bankruptcy bench on October 11, 2005. After serving with Judge Calhoun's chambers, she joined The Huntington National Bank, where she practiced law in the areas of banking, business, and creditors' rights. While at Huntington, she also took a three year segue into the business arena, managing Huntington's Special Assets Department, which focused on workout of commercial loans throughout the Huntington footprint. In January 2012, Judge Preston was appointed to the Sixth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, and currently serves as Chief Judge of the BAP.
