Public Notice Regarding Courthouse Entry Notice Related to COVID-19

COURTHOUSE ENTRY NOTICE RELATED TO COVID-19

To protect the public during the coronavirus outbreak, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio is following the guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Ohio Department of Health, and local health officials.  The Court asks that the public observe these guidelines also.

To provide a safe environment for everyone in the building, the following notice is posted at the entrance to each courthouse.  It applies to all who enter the courthouse, including attorneys. The notice will remain posted, subject to revision if necessary, until the end of the pandemic.

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE COURTHOUSE IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY:

If you are currently diagnosed with, or have had contact in the last fourteen days with anyone who was then diagnosed with, COVID-19;

Or you have been asked to self-quarantine by any hospital or health agency;

Or if you are exhibiting the following symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

Cough;
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing;
Or at least two of the following symptoms:
Fever;
Chills;
Repeated shaking with chills;
Muscle pain;
Headache;
Sore throat; or
New loss of taste or smell.
