Procedures for Applying to Appear Pro Hac Vice
1. File a Motion to Appear Pro Hac Vice and Upload a Proposed Order
The motion must be filed electronically in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio. The motion must comply with the requirements of Local Rule 2090-1. Local Rules and Orders. See also General Order 43-2. A proposed order should be uploaded when the motion is filed.
2. Monitor for Order Granting the Motion to Appear Pro Hac Vice
The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio will process the motion, and, if appropriate, enter an order granting the motion.
3. Payment of the Fee is to United States District Court
Within 14 days of the date the Bankruptcy Court grants the motion, the attorney must pay the required fee to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Failure to pay the fee may result in a revocation of the admission order or other action as determined by the Bankruptcy Court.
NOTE: The Bankruptcy Court cannot accept payment for this fee under any circumstances.
