Filing fees, administrative fees and other scheduled fees and charges are payable electronically or by money order, cashier’s check, law firm check, or trustee’s check. Please contact the Clerk’s Office with any questions regarding the amount of fees due.
Submitting Payment Electronically
Court fees may be paid electronically by accessing Pay.gov. When submitting a payment through Pay.gov, you may choose to pay via debit card, PayPal, or ACH (electronic payment from a bank account). There is no charge for this method of payment, and no account is required. Note that ACH payments rejected by your financial institution due to insufficient funds will be assessed a service charge of $53.00.
CM/ECF Users. Note that all filing fees assessed in CM/ECF must be paid within that program. Any outstanding filing fees will be displayed when first accessing CM/ECF, and you can bring up the payment screen at any time by clicking on accessing Internet Payments Due from the Utilities menu in CM/ECF.Failure to pay outstanding fees within CM/ECF may result in your account being disabled until payment is remitted.
Other Forms of Payment
Fees may also be submitted to the Clerk's Office by visiting during court hours or mailing the payment directly to the appropriate Court location. The following options are available.
Checks and Money Orders
Fees may be paid by certified check or money order. If using this form of payment, please make the payment payable to "Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court." No personal checks will be accepted by the Clerk's Office. If payment is made by mail and a receipt of the payment is desired, a self−addressed stamped envelope must be included.
Credit Cards
If you are not a debtor, you may pay for a fee at the Clerk's Office via credit card.
No Cash
Cash is not accepted at the Clerk's Office.
