Interpreter Services
Parties are generally responsible for providing interpreter services for court proceedings unless a party has a hearing impairment.
To arrange for a sign-language or foreign-language interpreters to be present at a proceeding where a party has a hearing impairment, please contact the Office Supervisor at the courthouse where the proceeding will take place:
- Cincinnati: Yvonne Ventre, Office Supervisor
- Columbus: C. Bridgette Evans, Office Supervisor
- Dayton: Melissa Chipman, Office Supervisor
Please note that the Court does not facilitate the use of interpreter services for § 341 Meetings of Creditors. Instead, those services are facilitated by the Office of the United States Trustee. Please contact your attorney if you need an interpreter for your 341 meeting, or, if you do not have an attorney, contact your case trustee.
